Currently, the Ingwe midfielder is joint-top in the top assists, making a crucial contribution to AFC Leopards' performance this season.

AFC Leopards wing wizard Clifton Miheso has been in fantastic form this season and jointly leads the FKF Premier League top assisters chart.

The fleet-footed winger, who made a triumphant return to Ingwe at the beginning of the 2023/2024 season, has become an indispensable part of the team, contributing five crucial assists.

Miheso, a former Kenya Police FC star, now shares the top spot on the assists chart with Kakamega Homeboyz's Estone Asiye.

Hot on their heels is Gor Mahia's Austin Odhiambo, who has racked up four assists.

The competition in the assists chart does not end there, with Posta Rangers' Brian Otieno, Caleb Olilo, Kariobangi Sharks' Fortune Omoto, Kakamega Homeboyz's Kevin Amwayi, Nairobi City Stars' dynamic duo of Robinson Asenwa and Samuel Kapen, Ulinzi Stars' Shannel Makwatta, and Tusker's Shaphan Siwa all in the mix with four assists each.

Miheso's standout performance came to the forefront on Sunday when his perfectly executed corner kick was converted by Mousa Oundo, marking AFC Leopards' third win of the season.

Miheso, who rejoined AFC Leopards seven years after his departure, has brought a new level of creativity, goals, and experience to the team.

His contributions have been especially significant considering Ingwe's struggle last season, which saw them finish in a disappointing seventh place.

However, this season has been a challenging one for AFC Leopards.

Despite Miheso's impressive form, the team currently sits 12th on the log, having accumulated 18 points and netted 13 goals.

The next challenge for Miheso and his team is an away match against Muhoroni Youth at Raila Odinga Stadium on Sunday.
