Former champions Equity Hawks are set to face off against Zetech Sparks in the women’s Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League play-offs at the Nyayo National Stadium Gymnasium on Friday, May 12 from 6 pm.
Zetech are not a team to underestimate as they have only lost three of their matches since the season began.

When the two sides met in the regular season, Zetech won the first leg match while Equity won the second leg match. They will meet again for Game Two on Sunday, May 14 at the same time, in the same venue.
Meanwhile, Equity Dumas will also take on opponents Ulinzi Warriors in the men’s playoffs. Ulinzi Warriors made it to the playoffs after defeating Eldonets Platinum 2-0 in the quarterfinal playoffs.
Bernard Mufutu’s charges will look to prevail as they go head-to-head with the Bankers, who qualified for the slot after their win over Terror of the University of Nairobi.
Ulinzi have lost two matches to the Bankers and will be looking to redeem themselves as they enter the pitch at 8pm for Game One. The two sides will then meet for Game Two on Saturday at Nyayo Gymnasium at 6 pm.
