That saw Jefferson retain her Short Sprints title, as she has now pocketed $100,000 each from the two races, taking her Grand Slam Track earnings to $200,000, while Thomas settled for the runners-up prize of $50,000 for a total of $150,000 from the opening two editions, after winning the Long Sprints in Kingston.
Thomas will now look to make amends at the third edition in Philadelphia and has not decided if she will return to the Long Sprints or remain in the Short Sprints.
