[WATCH]: Chukwueze scores to sink European champions Real Madrid

Samuel Chukwueze scored the game’s only goal at Soldier Field as AC Milan beat European Champions Real Madrid 1-0. 

The fixture in Chicago was Paulo Fonseca’s third non-competitive fixture since replacing Stefano Pioli in the summer, following the draw with Rapid Vienna and 3-2 victory over Manchester City. 

Chukwueze netted the match’s sole strike in the 55th minute after latching on to Mattia Liberali’s pass before beating Andriy Lunin at his near post.

It stayed that way for the Italian side, whose undefeated run in the off-season stretches to three games. 

The Nigerian’s strike was his first in Milan’s pre-season, but it followed a pair of assists in the Rossoneri’s thrilling 3-2 win over Pep Guardiola’s Man City, thus continuing the wide forward’s fine form. 

Milan next face Barcelona on August 7 in Baltimore before playing Monza six days later.
