Victor Osimhen: Super Eagles star named among top 4 strikers in the world

Super Eagles and SSC Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been listed as one of the best strikers in the World at the moment.

This is coming from his teammate at SSC Napoli, Stanislav Lobotka, during an interview in Italy.

According to the Slovakia international, Osimhen, who has been backed to win multiple golden boots, is in the top four strikers in the world alongside the most famous names in the business.

The Super Eagles striker has been one of the standout performers for Napoli this season as the Italian club aims to end a 33-year wait to lift the Serie A.

Osimhen has scored 19 goals this season the Serie A and added another two more in three starts to fire Napoli to the Champions League round of 16.

Speaking during an interview with Italian outlet, Corriere dello Sports, as reported by Football Italia, Osimhen's teammate, Lobotka rated the Nigerian forward as one of the best four.

According to him, the 24-year-old is at the same level as Erling Haaland of Manchester United, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowki, Karim Benzema of Real Madrid.

"Osimhen is among the top four strikers in the world along with Haaland, Lewandowski and Benzema,' Lobotka stated.

On his partner, Khvicha Kvaratshelia, the 28-year-old added; "Kvara is among the top three wingers in the world with Vini Jr. and Mbappé.”

Osimhen will be hoping to return to scoring ways after firing blanks in back-to-back matches for the club.

The Super Eagles star was caged in the defeat at home to Lazio before grapping an assist in the last game against Ademola Lookman's Atalanta in a 2-0 win.
