Following his antics, the Nigerian legend has pointed out the fact that the goalkeepers get angry for no reason during games.

Ayegbeni begs Chelle to speak to Nwabali

An ex-Nigerian international has called on the Super Eagles coaching staff to sit Nwabali down and have a discussion with him.

Speaking on a podcast, he said, “The coaches need to speak to him as well, you know, like to tell him, look, listen. Sometimes we don't keep us there, they are non-normal.

“Try to be, try to listen to your players and try to be nice. Sometimes there's some chances, boy needs to just catch it then put it down, drop it down.

“And we're lucky, yeah, we didn't—they didn't score that one. But for him, what can we do? I think it's still our number one, first choice for now. We have to wait for others to step up and see if they can become number one.

Ayegbeni also criticised Nwabali's on-field demeanor, asserting that he falls short of Enyeama's standard.
