Sevilla have managed to generate enough margin on their wage bill and have finally registered Super Eagles ace Kelechi Iheanacho with LALIGA.
The 27-year-old signed for the Spanish side as a free agent this summer but was uninvolved in their league opener against Las Palmas as he was yet to be registered.
Sevilla register Chukwueze
Pulse Sports reported that the Spanish side planned to register Chukwueze by generating enough FFP margin from the sale of French defender Loic Bade.
Despite receiving an offer from the German side, Stuttgart, the move failed to materialise, as Bade refused to join. Sevilla scampered to find solutions and have now done enough to register the Nigerian.
This came by way of Marcus Acuna’s exit. Sevilla allowed the Argentine to leave for free, as he returned to his home country to play for River Plate.
According to Spanish journalist Gonzalo Tortosa, this was enough to register Iheanacho, and he is now available to be selected for Garcia Pimienta’s side.
Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho and his former teammate Wilfred Ndidi could soon release an Afrobeats song with Odumodublvck after the rapper told ESPN he would like to collaborate with the duo.
