'Rodri, Foden, and Ederson are ready' - Guardiola speaks ahead of Tottenham game
Manchester City secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Wolves in their opening game of the Premier League season.
However, the trio missed the Citizens' opening game of the new Premier League season for various reasons.
What Guardiola said
"Rodri and Phil Foden were out for the last match simply because they lacked training and rhythm. They weren't ready to play 90 minutes against Wolves, but they are ready for tomorrow.
"Mateo Kovačić, Joško Gvardiol, and Sávio are the only ones who will be absent for this match. We will decide tomorrow, or tonight after dinner, whether James Trafford will start. Ederson is also ready," stated Guardiola, via Sportal.
When asked if Nathan Aké and Manuel Akanji could leave before the end of the transfer window, Pep replied: "They are our players, we will see what happens. I think a few things will happen and we will see."
"It's too early to know how Tottenham have changed under Thomas Frank, but I have no doubt he will do an incredible job at a really big club, just as he did at Brentford.
"He is a top-class manager and offers a different alternative for how they can play. Moving to a new club is always a fun and different challenge, but we have to wait and see.
"Tottenham have been a tough opponent for us recently, but this is a new season, and what happened in the past is in the past, there's nothing we can do. The 4-0 loss last season came after the international break and a poor run of results," Guardiola said regarding Thomas Frank and Tottenham.
When asked about the significant investments being made by competitors, the Spaniard stated: "Clubs spend money according to strict financial rules and will only spend if they can. Obviously, it's not just Manchester City who are spending."
