Raith Rovers confirm Dick extension

Scottish club Raith Rovers have confirmed that Liam Dick has committed his immediate future to the club.

Dick has decided to stay beyond this season after putting pen to paper on a new deal the club stated on Tuesday. 

The defender has extended his stay by another 12 months and will now remained at the Championship side until the summer of 2024. 

The club confirmed the decision through a statement on their official social media account on Tuesday night. 

The club has been impressed with Dick’s ability and versatility throughout his stay at the club. 

“We’re delighted to announce Liam Dick has renewed his contract for another year, keeping him at the club until June 2024,” the club state in a statement. 

The 27-year-old’s current deal was due to expire next month but both parties have moved swiftly to extend the deal beyond the current campaign. 

The defender joined the Scottish Premiership side in the summer of 2021 on a free transfer. He last played for Alloa Athletic in 2018 before joining the Raith as a free agent. 

Dick, who can play as a fullback or centre-back, has also previously played for Falkirk, Stranraer and Dumbarton.
