French giants Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for life without Lionel Messi and potentially Brazilian superstar Neymar.
The newly crowned Ligue 1 champions have been linked with a host of potential arrivals but the latest reports will send Arsenal fans into panic mode.
PSG to swoop for Arsenal's Odegaard
The Daily Mail has reported that Arsenal Captain and metronomic midfielder, Martin Odegaard has emerged as PSG's top target this summer.
The Norwegian star has enjoyed a brilliant season in helping the Gunners climb up the table and mount their first challenge for the Premier League title in over a decade.
He has also offered extremely impressive output, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists in 37 Premier League appearances.
Verdict
PSG need to add creativity to their team with Lionel Messi set to depart and Neymar's future uncertain. However, it is unlikely that Arsenal will be willing to sell their captain with the club looking to build on this season's performances.
If a deal is indeed to be reached for Odegaard, we could be looking at a PL record sale, at the very least.
