Ancelotti is in the final year of his Real Madrid contract and speculation has been rife about the possibility of the legendary Italian tactician pitching his tent with the Brazil national team.
Ancelotti to Brazil confirmed
Those rumours have now been confirmed to be true by CBF president Ednaldo Rodrigues who revealed to Diario AS that Fernando Diniz will take charge of the national team on an interim basis, holding forte until Ancelotti takes the reins next summer.
"His (Diniz) game plan is almost similar to that of the coach that will take over at Copa America, Ancelotti," Rodrigues said.
"We don't call him an interim coach of the national team. He will come and make the transition in Brazil for Ancelotti."
