Liverpool are reportedly willing to go all out for Leroy Sane as they prepare for the reported impending exit of Mohammed Salah.
The 27-year-old is a Premier League-proven winger, having spent time in Manchester City, who rivalled the Reds for Premier League titles for the better part of the past decade.
Salah's uncertain Liverpool future
The Merseysiders staved off interest from Saudi Arabia this summer for their player of the decade, Mohammed Salah.
However, according to a report from the Mirror, he is expected to eventually make the move next summer, and Liverpool are already preparing for his departure.
Al-Ittihad came knocking this summer with a reported bid of £150 million. Liverpool turned it down, and reports suggested timing was the reason, as they believed the transfer window was running out, leaving them with little time to find a replacement.
With an entire season to prepare, Liverpool could accept the Saudi Arabian Champions bid when they return next summer.
Liverpool eye Sane
Sane's contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2025, and he has been consistently linked with an exit from the German champions, with LALIGA giants Barcelona and Real Madrid heavily linked with him.
Liverpool are now said to be willing to throw their hat into the ring in anticipation of Salah's exit, and they are reported to be prepared to shell out the over £80 million the player is expected to cost, which will surpass their transfer record set with the signing of Darwin Nunez.
