Thiago Messi, the son of Argentine soccer legend Lionel Messi, recently made his debut with Inter Miami in LaLiga FC Futures.

Despite a group-stage loss to Barcelona, Thiago shared his thoughts on the tournament, his father, and his future aspirations in an interview with José Ramón de la Morena.

When asked about his own playing ambitions, Thiago confessed, "Playing makes me more nervous than watching my father play."

Thiago Messi also acknowledged his areas for improvement, saying, "I'm not good with my left foot like my dad." However, he remains determined to follow in his father's footsteps, stating, "I would like to play for the Argentine national team."

As for his dream teammates, the 11-year-old didn't hesitate, saying, "One day I would like to play with Lamine Yamal."

His dad, Lionel Messi was inspirational as Argentina defeated Guatemala 4-1, scoring a brace and setting up Inter striker Lauaro Martinez for a fine finish.
