As Chelsea prepares for their Premier League trip to Burnley this Saturday, the club's star attacker Cole Palmer is back in training.
The Blues will head to Turf Moor seeking a vital three points, a result that could temporarily lift them to second place in the league table before Manchester City plays later in the day.
Manager Enzo Maresca is expected to focus heavily on tactics designed to unlock Burnley’s compact defensive setup, an approach that has troubled Chelsea in matches.
Palmer returns to training
Chelsea remains optimistic about Cole Palmer’s recovery from the groin injury that has sidelined him since September.

Before the international break, Maresca hinted that the 23-year-old could return later this month.
While the Burnley clash may come too soon, the club hopes Palmer will be fully fit for the important Champions League showdown against Barcelona next week.
Chelsea could receive further good news with the potential returns of Enzo Fernández, Pedro Neto and Benoît Badiashile.
Maresca is expected to give an update during Friday’s pre-match press conference.
