He's a creative Machine - De Bruyne picks between Bruno Fernandes and Odegaard
Manchester City ace Kevin de Bruyne has picked who he believes is the better playmaker between Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes and Arsenal's Martin Odegaard.
The Belgian international is possibly the best in the playmaker role in the league, topping the Assists charts in four separate seasons since his return to the Premier League.
Bruno has also taken the league by storm since signing for Manchester United, scoring and assisting in volume, while Odegaard led Arsenal's title charge last season.
Both players are among the elite playmakers in the league, but De Bruyne believes one is superior to the other.
What De Bruyne said
The former Wolfsburg midfielder, who is currently out of action due to a Muscle partial avulsion injury, has stated that Bruno Fernandes is a superior playmaker to Arsenal's Odegaard.
The Belgian believes Fernandes is a chance creation machine, while Odegaard is a little more controlled.
Adding Tottenham's James Maddison to the list, KDB ranks them in descending order of Bruno, Odegaard, and then Maddison, as he believes the Englishman needs to show more at a top club.
"I think he's a creative machine, in general," De Bruyne told Sky Sports per Goal.
"Odegaard is very creative but a little bit more controlled. Maddison is also really creative, but I need to see more of him in a big team.
“He's [Fernandes] been doing it for such a long time. Odegaard was amazing last year but obviously, he’s younger so that's a difference.”
