Heartbreak for Real Madrid as Camavinga ruled out for 6/7 weeks after horrific injury
The Laliga winners are preparing to face Atalanta in their Super Cup clash after winning their 15th Champions League trophy.
Atalanta also won the Europa League trophy, defeating Bundesliga-invisible Bayer Leverkusen in the finals.
However, ahead of the clash, Camavinga got injured, which will see him absent from the Madrid squad for a long time.
Camavinga out for a long time
Eduardo Camavinga, a midfielder for Real Madrid, sprained his left knee ligament and will be out for up to seven weeks.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X, “Eduardo Camavinga has suffered a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in the left knee. Real Madrid staff expect Camavinga to be out for 6/7 weeks and return around October.”

The France international suffered an injury during a small-sided training session at the National Stadium in Warsaw before Real Madrid's UEFA Super Cup match against Italian team Atalanta.
The club's tests on Wednesday revealed that the 21-year-old has a sprained ligament, which will probably keep him out for about seven weeks.
Camavinga will miss the Super Cup clash and possibly seven of Real Madrid's first La Liga games.
He is expected to return for the Madrid derby against Atletico, which is presently slated for September 28–29, an away game.
