Speaking exclusively to Telecomasia.net upon his arrival in Vienna, Ryan Ogam shared his excitement about the move.

"This is a massive dream come true for me, and I am really excited to finally be here," he said. "I know the task ahead is huge, and I feel honoured to have the responsibility of flying the Kenyan flag high. I am looking forward to the challenge and I am ready for it,” Ryan Ogam revealed.

"I am excited to start training with the rest of the team, immerse myself in the culture, and start playing football. My ambition is to settle in quickly, perform well, and keep scoring goals to help the team achieve its targets."

Meanwhile, at CHAN 2024, Ryan Ogam scored twice, in their matches against two-time champions Morocco and Zambia, both securing victories for Harambee Stars and contributing to their place in the quarterfinal of the tournament, where they were eliminated.

Ryan Ogam also made a mark in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier matches against The Gambia and Seychelles. He scored the sole goal against The Gambia and a brace as Harambee Stars embarrassed Seychelles.

Ryan Ogam first rose to prominence with Tusker FC in the FKF Premier League. Despite missing the entire second half of the season due to injury, he finished fourth in the Golden Boot race with 15 goals. He now aims to bring that goal-scoring form to his new club in Austria.
