'Finally here we go!' Manchester United set to complete Onana signing
Manchester United are reportedly set to complete the signing of Inter’s Andre Onana, after finally agreeing to a deal with the Nerazzuri for the goalkeeper’s signature.
Onana set to complete Manchester United transfer
Onana has been the prime target for Manchester United since before Red Devils icon David De Gea left the club after 12 years of service.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper was billed to start ahead of the Spanish ex-number one if he remained at Manchester United, due to Onana’s compatibility with the Red Devils’ perceived system for the future.
Onana’s transfer from Inter had stalled despite the exit of De Gea and the eagerness of the Cameroonian to join Manchester United due to financial difficulties between the Red Devils and Inter, but those issues appear to have been resolved.
Manchester United and Inter find Onana agreement
According to football transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Inter and Manchester United have finally come to an agreement, and Onana’s transfer is set to be announced in the coming days.

Inter had requested up to €60 million for their star goalkeeper, but with Manchester United initially unwilling to offer more than €50 million, it is believed that both clubs have found a solution with a price somewhere between both valuations.
Onana is set to move to Manchester United, and will become the second Cameroonian player to don the Red Devils’ jersey after Eric Djemba Djemba who played for the club between 2003 and 2005.
