Chelsea scrap end-of-season awards night after disastrous campaign under big-spending Todd Boehly
After an outlay of £600m across two transfer windows, Chelsea will finish the Premier League season in the bottom half.
A damning indicted on the Todd Boehly leadership model, one that has seen the Blues churn out some of their worst performances in decades.
No awards night for terrible Chelsea
Chelsea earned their lowest Premier League points total since 1993 during Todd Boehly's debut season as co-owner and have now taken the decision to bin their in-person awards evening.
Awards for men's player of the season, academy player of the season, and goal of the season will be given out before their final game of the season at home against Newcastle instead.
