Arsenal's Martinelli backs ₦115 billion rated star to outscore Bukayo Saka this season

Martinelli believes Arsenal star man Bukayo Saka will not be the club's top goalscorer this season.

Saka topped the Gunners' scoring charts last season and is once again a strong favourite to replicate that after a strong start to the new campaign.

Mikel Arteta's men have won two of their opening three games, and look strong enough to challenge Manchester City for a third successive season.

Despite Saka being the Gunners' main man, Martinelli believes Gabriel Jesus will finish as top scorer.

Jesus has battled with injuries throughout the past year, losing his place to Kai Havertz and failing to hit the heights promised after he arrived from Manchester City.

However, Martinelli is still adamant that his compatriot will be Arsenal’s top goalscorer this season.

Speaking to the Premier League’s social channels, Martinelli said: “The top goal scorer will be Gabi Jesus.

“He’s an amazing player, he always scores some nice goals, and yeah, that’s my opinion.”
