Arsenal vs Man City: Fans react to Ramsdale heroics in Community Shield win
Manchester City opened the scoring in the 77th minute through a curling effort from substitute Cole Palmer but the Arsenal did not give up as they scored the equaliser in the 101 minutes of injury time to take the game to a penalty shootout.
Arsenal scored all four of their penalties from Martin Odegaard, Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka and Fabio Viera with Man City scoring only one and missing two for penalties.
Arsenal's win over Manchester City makes it the third time the Gunners will defeat the Citizens in the Community Shield and the 17th Community Shield title.
Despite the win, Aaron Ramsdale was seen as the hero of the game as he saved the last penalty from Manchester City player Rodri.
