"We lost against Ulinzi today, and I congratulate them because they were better than us. One chance, one goal. We got our chances, but we didn't utilize them—and that's football," he told Pulse Sports in an exclusive post-match interview.

"We know sometimes we have such results, so our immediate focus is our next matches, and we won't lose the hunger until the end of the season," he added.

Speaking on Kenya Police's title aspirations, the tactician stressed that his charges will fight till the end of the season.

"Our title ambitions are not dependent on one match. Even if we had won, our hope would not have gone higher than it is. We have to fight till the end, so we must remain focused," said Ndayiragije.

The Kenya Police tactician is immediately turning his attention to their next Premier League fixture as they aim to outwit Gor Mahia and Tusker in the fierce title race.

"We need to do recovery and assess any injuries, then look at our next game to return as a wounded lion. I have faith that we will return better than we were."
