The 26-year-old defensive midfielder is currently a free agent after his contract with FC Ararat-Armenia expired on June 30.

While Nondi had been in advanced talks over a contract extension, negotiations broke down, prompting him to pursue opportunities in more competitive leagues.

A Prostar agency source representing Nondi confirmed to Africafoot that Paris FC had initiated contact and is now willing to proceed with discussions.

The club reportedly sees Nondi as a strong candidate to replace outgoing midfielder Vincent Marchetti.

Talks Initiated, But Agreement Yet to Be Reached

“Paris FC contacted his entourage on Tuesday (14th July)  regarding a possible signing and is now ready to move forward,” the source stated.

“Initial discussions include the club offering him a three-year contract if negotiations progress well. This is an exceptional opportunity, as Amos’s dream has always been to play in one of Europe’s top five leagues.”

The talks are still at an early stage, and it remains to be seen whether an agreement will be finalised.

Nondi’s Ararat Armenia Spell

Nondi spent the last three seasons at Armenian Premier League side FC Ararat-Armenia, where he became a cornerstone of the team.

He made 77 appearances in all competitions, including 28 last season, and featured in four UEFA Conference League playoff matches. Before moving to Armenia, he had stints in Georgia with Dila Gori and Kolkheti Poti.

On the international stage, Nondi has been a steady presence for the Harambee Stars, earning 17 competitive caps since making his debut in 2021, and contributing one goal and one assist for Kenya.

According to Transfermarkt, his current market valuation stands at approximately €225,000.

Should the move to Paris FC materialise, Nondi would fulfill a personal ambition of competing in one of Europe’s elite leagues, and potentially become the first Kenyan to feature in France’s top-flight in recent years.
