Usain Bolt has disclosed the two events he is looking forward to watching at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The world’s fastest man Usain Bolt has disclosed the events he will be anticipating to watch at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games scheduled for later this year.

The multiple Olympic champion, speaking during a press conference at the 2024 Laureus World Sport Awards in Madrid, Spain, explained that he will be looking to watch everything, but on the track, he is excited to watch the 100m and 200m final races.

The double world record holder (100m and 200m) has watched how the sport has transitioned, especially the sprints, and will be keen to watch if his world records will go down in the global bonanza.

“I’m excited to see everything…I have an all-access pass so I can get in and I want to go and watch swimming, football, and anything that I can do on that day.

“For me, being at the Olympic Games and not competing, I’m just excited and like a kid in the candy store. I’ll just go and try to see everything that I possibly can. On the track, the 100m and 200m finals, those two are the ones I’m looking forward to watching,” Bolt said.

Meanwhile, he also commended World Athletics for introducing prize money for gold medallists at the Olympic Games, noting that he loves to see how things are evolving since his retirement. He explained that it’s a good step to always appreciate athletes who put in the work.

“It’s always great to see when the sport grows and the athletes get their justice served…in the recent past there have been discussions about getting money into the sport and I’m excited to know and see that the sport is moving forward,” he added.
