Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles will be making his 400m debut as a professional at the Tom Jones Memorial 2025 on Saturday, April 19.
The triple world champion has already set the bar high, revealing what he wants to attain when he lines up against a strong field of experienced 400m runners.
In a post on his X (Twitter) handle, just a few hours before the race, Noah Lyles revealed that he is going for nothing short of a personal best time in the race and if not that, then he would have failed terribly.

Noah Lyles will be out to test his endurance as he looks forward to the long season, with the main focus on the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan.
The three-time world 200m champion is in the first heat, competing against Jonathan Jones, Kennedy Lightner, Jacory Patterson, Justin Robinson, and Alonzo Russell.
He has already started his season, competing indoors in the 60m. He started with the RADD Sports College Invitational and Multi-Event before proceeding to the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix. The 400m race will be his first outdoor race of the season.
