After Barcelona’s transfer plans were dealt a huge blow by Lionel Messi’s decision to move to the MLS to join Inter Miami, club chiefs met on Friday to discuss the summer transfer strategy.
The LaLiga giants are in a desperate financial position and need to make sales urgently.
Barcelona to get rid of Fati, Kessie and Ferran
According to Spanish Outlet Sport, Barca boss Xavi has informed Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, and Franck Kessie that they all have to go.
With the financial restraints, Barca have to sell to buy players and Xavi iis believed to be looking for two new midfielders, at least, with Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan, top priority.
The report further states that sporting director, Mateu Alemany will talk to the trio’s agents to try and find some offers, while Xavi has the job of trying to convince all three to move on.
