Mikel Arteta’s men are now on four points after their first two UCL games and currently sitting in eighth position on the table.

Carragher praises Arsenal

Jamie Carragher has heaped praise on Mikel Arteta’s side for their tremendous victory against a tough opponent like PSG.

Speaking on CBS after the game, Carragher said, “I think in terms of the name of the club and with the players that they've had in the past, I think when you're looking at the team 11 v 11, it's still a good win.

“But I still think and credit Arsenal for this. I think when you think Arsenal are home to PSG, I think very few people will think PSG will go there to win right now and that's not criticising PSG.

The former Liverpool defender spoke highly of the Arsenal team and how they did a good job beating the French champions.

The Gunners will now face Southampton on Saturday at the Emirates before heading into the international break.
