Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso come face-to-face and all that happened on SmackDown

Following the conclusion of Elimination Chamber, WWE SmackDown witnessed an emotional encounter between estranged duo Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso. 

The close friends-turned-foes came face to face on Friday night, with Jey Uso's commitment to The Bloodline seemingly hanging in a balance.

Although, the aftermath of Elimination Chamber did leave a couple of speculations as to what happens with The Bloodline next.

Jey Uso blatantly refused to oblige to Roman Reigns' demand at the Montreal event, forcing the the Tribal chief to take matters into his own hands.

 Zayn attempted to capitalize on the distraction, but accidentally missed his target and speared Jey Uso. 

However, both Zayn and Jimmy Uso fought for Jey Uso's support on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik faced each other in the ring, with the latter continuing to torment his father with series of disrespectful utterances.

SmackDown also saw a meeting between SmackDown women's champion Charlotte Flair and Dominik Mysterio ahead of Flair’s Wrestlemania match with Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley. 

The Blue brand also featured appearances from Ronda Rousey, Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre, intercontinental champion GUNTHER, amongst others.

Here’s a full rundown of what happened this past week on SmackDown.

Jimmy Uso revealed in a brief interview that Jey Uso has not returned his calls or texts since Elimination Chamber.

He also informed his twin brother that they could meet in the ring, also saying he would allow Jey to get everything off his chest.

At the moment, Neither Jimmy Uso nir any member of The Bloddline is sure where his brother's head is at in the aftermath of Elimination Chamber. 

Roman Reign’s special counsel Paul Heyman recommended that Jimmy Uso deal with Jey Uso by himself while Solo Sikoa remains backstage.

Jimmy Uso eventually headed to the ring to close out SmackDown, acknowledging that Jey Uso was conflicted and hurting. 

Jimmy Uso also insisted that he would always be here for his brother Jey, regardless of the current issues rocking The Bloodline.

However, Sami Zayn interrupted Jimmy Uso, entering the ring through the crowd, while assuring he was only there to speak with Jimmy Uso.

 Zayn reflected on how Jimmy Uso was the one who welcomed him into the fold and stood by him, even when Jey Uso and the rest of the group were hesitant.

 Zayn also said he was hurt that Jimmy Uso attacked him without hesitation at the Royal Rumble.

In response, Jimmy Uso accused Zayn of being selfish.

But  Zayn argued that having his loyalties tested every week by The Bloodline was unfair. 

Both men were distracted by the presence of Jey Uso in the crowd. 

Zayn then offered The Usos a chance to switch sides before The Bloodline finally crashed.

Distracted by Jey Uso's arrival, Jimmy Uso blindsided Zayn, but a lapse in attention by Jimmy then allowed Zayn to lay him out with a Helluva Kick. 

Zayn then exited into the crowd as Sikoa came out to Jimmy Uso's aid.

 Zayn and Jey Uso finally exchanged looks before Zayn fled the scene while Jey Uso remained in the audience to close the show.

After Rey Mysterio lost to Karrion Kross, Dominick Mysterio entered the ring to square up to his father, constantly provoking a hit from his father, but Rey Mysterio showed restraint and walked away.
