"Oviedo played quite defensively. In the second half, we also dropped back because the opposition tried to pressure us. We made some crucial tackles in defence and managed to launch counter-attacks. But this was a very serious match.

"We performed well both with and without the ball. We played as a team. Vinícius came on and contributed to the last two goals, which gave us some breathing room. There will be games for everyone," Alonso stated, as reported by Sportal.

"The changes from one match to the next depend on what we need on the pitch and the opponent we're facing. I haven't made any decisions for the next month. It's essential that everyone in the team feels important and is ready for the next match.

"We need to maintain consistency in our performance as a team. We will grow with every game. After the Osasuna match, we've now shown progress, and we must continue in this spirit," the manager added.

"I have over 20 players in the squad, and I will try to get the best out of them. Today, Vinícius played a key role, and my desire is for everyone to contribute. That will be the theme of this season," the coach concluded.
