Manchester United have made progress in their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee, reaching a broad agreement with his representatives over payment terms.
The club will now negotiate a deal with Bologna, potentially exploring alternatives to Zirkzee's £34 million release clause, which expires in August.

The 23-year-old Dutch striker, also coveted by AC Milan, is preparing for the Euro 2024 semifinals with the Netherlands.
United have prioritized Zirkzee over other targets like Jonathan David and Ivan Toney, as Erik ten Hag seeks a new striker to provide competition for Rasmus Hojlund.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are interested in David, who is available for around £25 million. Zirkzee impressed with 12 goals for Bologna last season, helping the team secure a historic Champions League spot.
