Super Eagles forward Iheanacho eyes Premier League return with relegation survivors
Leicester City’s Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has reportedly been linked with a move back to the Premier League, with Nottingham Forest interested in a move for the Super Eagles forward.
Iheanacho targeted by Nottingham Forest
Iheanacho was relegated from the Premier League with Leicester City in the 2022/23 season despite contributing to 10 goals in 11 starts for the Foxes.
The Super Eagles forward contributed directly to the third most goals in the league for Leicester, and with the only two players who were involved in more goals than him (James Maddison and Harvey Barnes) either leaving or set to leave the Foxes, Iheanacho could be set to leave the club as well.

Nottingham Forest survived the Premier League relegation battle in the 2022/23 season at the expense of Iheanacho’s Leicester, and could now take the forward from the Foxes as well.
After signing a ridiculous 27 players last season, including two Nigerians, Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis, and hope they can open this season’s market by signing another Super Eagles forward.
