Spartak Moscow in talks with Tottenham for defender Davinson Sánchez
The Russian side launched a bid for the Tottenham defender worth €12 million and are hoping a deal can be agreed on with the Premier League side.
One of the current Tottenham Hotspur players most frequently mentioned in exit rumours is Davinson Sanchez.
For the past month or two, he has been linked to a variety of teams, but most closely to Galatasaray in Turkey, who supposedly had a major interest.
However, according to recent reports, he is close to moving to Spartak Moscow in Russia after a bid was presented to Tottenham.
Spartak Moscow close in on Sánchez
According to reports Spartak Moscow are close to agreeing on a deal with Tottenham for Davinson Sánchez.
Romano Fabrizio reported on Twitter that “Spartak Moscow have submitted €12m bid for Davinson Sánchez. Talks are at advanced stages with Tottenham ⚪️🔴.
“Deal still under discussion but the Russian side is optimistic, as @PSierraR reported.”
Both teams are close to reaching an agreement for the Colombian and it is just a matter of time before he becomes a Spartak Moscow player.
Tottenham are currently looking to trim their squad and bring in quality players ahead of the next season.
Spurs finished eighth in the 2022/2023 season and missed out on playing European football despite starting the season with good momentum.
New manager Ange Postecoglou will be looking to have a good first season with Spurs and hope to qualify them for the Champions League.
