Sergio Ramos sends jersey to congratulate Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq after wonder goal

Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos has sent Nigerian striker Umar Sadiq his match-day jersey to congratulate him for his stunning strike to help Real Sociedad beat Sevilla.

As Pulse Sports reported, Nigeria international Umar Sadiq sent shockwaves through Real Sociedad and the football world after he scored a stunning goal against Sevilla.

Sadiq netted what could be described as the goal of the season contender as Real Sociedad defeated Sevilla 2-1 in a LALIGA clash on  Sunday.

Umar’s moment arrived courtesy of a solo effort when the Super Eagles striker was allowed to drive from the centre circle and into the Sevilla half and at goal.

Yet to open his count for the season, the former Almeria found the space and time to unleash the unstoppable rocket from a range that left everyone including his teammates stunned.

Umar Sadiq, as reported by Nigerian journalist Oma Akatugba, shared a picture of Ramos’s jersey, implying the Spanish football legend gave him following his stunning goal to put Real Sociedad 2-0 up in the 3-1 win against Sevilla.

Ramos started the game and had front-row access to Sadiq’s stunner. The defender saw straight red later in the game. Despite the defeat and the ignominy of an early shower, Ramos showed sportsmanship and gave his jersey to the Nigerian.
