Saka and Odegaard unveil Arsenal’s new Adidas home for 2024/25 season featuring classic Cannon emblem
Arsenal have officially unveiled their new home shirt for the 2024/25 season.
The news Adidas shirt sees the club logo replaced by the iconic Gunners’ cannon emblem.
This would not be the first time the cannon is used on the Arsenal shirt, as it has previously been used a substitute for the club crest on other shirts, such as this season’s away jersey.
However, the new Adidas design marks the first time in 35 years that it will feature on the home shirt.

Bukayo Saka and club captain Martin Odegaard, were among the Gunners stars who posed in the promotional campaign for the new shirt, including Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, William Saliba, amongst others.
Arsenal’s away and third kits, which are slated to be released this summer, will reportedly also have the cannon symbol featured on the shirts instead of the usual crest.
The last time Arsenal had a home shirt which used a cannon instead of the club crest was back in the 1989-90 season.
The emblem was used on this season’s third kit and also the black away shirt for last season
The change of having the cannon on all three kits is in place for one season only, with Adidas stating that the design is a nod to the Gunners’ history.
The club crest remains an integral part of Arsenal’s identity and will still feature regularly in the club’s merchandise.
The current Arsenal crest, which is on the home kit this season, has been in use since 2002.
