Romelu Lukaku keen to extend his stay at Inter

Lukaku joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in 2021 for a fee of  £100 million but was unable to enforce his presence in the Chelsea side which led to him going back on loan to Inter.

The Belgian striker has been struck by injuries this season which has led to his dip in form but the Belgian striker has started to gain some form and has six goal involvements in his last eight Serie A starts.

Lukaku's career at Chelsea did not go well as he failed to impress after his big money move to the club. could be offered the chance to revive his Chelsea career. 

The 29-year-old only scored in six Premier League games and felt the wrath of the club and fans after a controversial interview in which he expressed unhappiness and spoke of a desire to return to Inter.

During his previous stint at Inter, Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 appearances, and as 90 min revealed last month, the Nerazzurri have already been in discussions about extending the loan for a second season.

Chelsea still wants to keep Lukaku and are not looking to dispose of him. They are also looking to get Pochettino as their new manager who will also want to keep Lukaku.

The Blues have made suggestions that they are not ready to let Lukaku leave Stamford Bridge according to reports from 90 min But Inter are adamant that they get him back for another season. 

Chelsea are yet to finalise a deal for their next manager as negotiation continues with Mauricio Pochettino.

According to recent reports, a contract has reportedly been reached with Mauricio Pochettino as a result of discussions in recent days. The Argentine coach wants to bring his regular team to Stamford Bridge, and discussions over the makeup of his backroom staff are currently ongoing.
