Barcelona go into the tie after a very impressive group stage, where they set the record for the most goals scored in that round of the competition with 29 goals.
Chelsea v Lyon
Following consecutive league and cup doubles, Chelsea would try for the elusive UWCL once more. Their knockout journey begins against the most difficult opponents, the defending champions, Lyon.
Lyon are the record winners of this competition after winning it eight times and are still the favourites to lift the crown this season, despite a humiliating 5-1 group stage defeat to another English team, Arsenal.
Arsenal v Bayern Munich
Jonas Eidevall's side shook the world when they put five past defending champions, Lyon, in the group stages, establishing themselves as contenders for the title they once won in the 2006/07 season.
