Odada itching for Harambee Stars return to action after 16 months
Philadelphia Union and Harambee Stars midfielder Richard Odada has revealed the mood in the national team camp is excellent ahead of Tuesday's clash against Iran.
Harambee Stars will meet Iran in an international friendly that will be played away at Azadi Stadium in Tehran, Iran.

Speaking after one of the training sessions, Odada said the mood within the Harambee Stars camp is good and every player is looking forward to the big game.
"The mood in camp is okay and we cannot compare it with previous ones because the players now are very connected.
It is like everyone was waiting for this opportunity as for the last one year we did not take to the field,” said Odada.
Odada is one of 11 foreign-based players that were called by coach Engin Firat ahead of the high profile friendly.
The 21-year-old jetted into the country on Monday from his base in the United States of America in search of his sixth international cap.
Odada earned his first call-up to the national team under coach Jacob 'Ghost' Mulee in September 2021, and made his debut in a 2022 World Cup qualifier against Uganda at Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi.

The midfielder scored his debut goal for Kenya in a 2-1 win against Rwanda in the same qualifier on November 15, 2021.
He previously played for Serbian side Red Star Belgrade where he made only two appearances before being loaned to RFK Grafičar Beograd.
