Looking to strengthen their squad for potential European football, ambitious Newcastle United are exploring a move for Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window.
The Magpies could offer the Belgian a route back to the Premier League after struggling in Madrid.
The Los Blancos are said to be ready to open the doors for Hazard to leave, and his possible destination now could St James' Park.

Hazard spent impressive moments with Chelsea and helped the Blues win two Premier League titles and a Europa League trophy.
He fulfilled his dream to join Real Madrid in 2019, but his expectations have not gone the way he would have wanted. Owing to persistent injuries, Hazard’s playtime for the La Liga side was greatly reduced.
With the prospects of playing in Europe becoming clearer, Newcastle have already started to plan for the transfer window, and the experienced attacker has been earmarked.
As Eddie Howe hopes to strengthen all areas and add depth, experienced stars will come in handy, and Hazard is one such player.
Although he has had to deal with injuries at Santiago Bernabeu, Hazard can still play at a top level, and with reports that Madrid are open to seeing him leave, he could be an easy target for the Magpies.

With Hazard’s deal expiring in the summer of 2024, the Spanish outfit could accept a cut-price deal for the former Premier League-winning attacker.
Burnley, who got promoted from the Championship to the Premier League, had been linked with Hazard, but Newcastle could be an enticing project for the forward.
