NEC complete signing of Onduparaka darling ahead of season opener

Okocha, who recently relocated from West Nile to Kampala City, has been diligently training with NEC at the renowned Coffee Grounds in Bugolobi. 

After showcasing his skills during NEC's preseason matches, the talented player has secured a two-year contract under the guidance of coach Hussein Mbalangu.

The announcement made by NEC regarding Okocha's acquisition serves as a significant boost to their team roster.

They proudly highlight his extensive experience and impressive track record, which undoubtedly promises to enhance their on-field performance.

During his tenure with Onduparaka FC, Okocha showcased his prowess in 63 matches, scoring a total of four goals.

Notably, he was awarded the prestigious Man of the Match title three times in the previous season, despite the team's unfortunate relegation.

As Okocha joins NEC, he reunites with his former coach, Dudu Bosco, who will assume the role of assistant coach.

Dudu's instrumental involvement in bringing Okocha from Onduparaka FC to NEC is a testament to their strong professional relationship.

On Friday, September 15, NEC will kick off their season against Mbarara City FC at the esteemed Kakyeka Stadium, located in Mbarara City, Western Uganda.
