AC Milan are reportedly close to agreeing on a deal with Chelsea for midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek for a deal in the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old Cobham Academy graduate has had multiple loan spells away from the club. He could be set for a permanent exit, with the Rossoneri keen on landing.
Loftus-Cheek to Milan
According to a report by Italian outlet Vito Angele, last season’s Serie A champions are moving closer to agreeing a deal for the former Fulham midfielder.
The player is also said to be keen and has already contracted Fikayo Tomori, who made a similar move from Chelsea to Milan, to inquire about the club.
The Champions League semi-finalists are said to be offering €10 million for the midfielder, whose contract expires next summer; however, Chelsea are reportedly holding out on double the offer.
Personal terms are said to have been reached already, and Loftus-Cheek is set to earn €3.5 million a year.
It remains to be seen if an agreement will be reached as Chelsea prepare for a summer of exits to treat their bloated squad.
