Manchester United vs. Leeds betting tips and odds

Erik ten Hag will hope his side can capitalize on Manchester City’s slip, as a win will take them level on points with the Citizens in second place. Manchester United’s fixture against Leeds would mean they have played one game more than City and two more than first-placed Arsenal. 

Leeds United have sacked Jesse Marsch after a run of seven Premier League games without a win. A three-man coaching staff of Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo, and Chris Armas will be in charge of the Whites for this trip to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils are on a four-match winning streak, and Ten Hag’s men will look to extend this run on Wednesday. Manchester United have also won 13 consecutive home games, as Old Trafford has returned to being a fortress. However, the 20-time Premier League champions have also conceded in five of their last seven in all competitions, while Leeds has scored in six of their 10 away league games this season.

Marcus Rashford has been in great form since the league resumed in December. The 25-year-old has scored 11 goals in all competitions since he returned from the World Cup, and he was also on the scoresheet against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday. The England international is a good bet to get on the scoresheet once again.

Manchester United have played four Premier League home games since the World Cup ended and led at halftime in three of those games. The only time the Red Devils were not ahead after 45 minutes was in the Manchester derby.

Meanwhile, Leeds have been behind at halftime in each of their last two away games and in three of their last four. Even more damning is the fact that the Whites have failed to score a first-half goal in their six Premier League matches since the league resumed in December.
