Barella is under contract at the San Siro until 2026 and despite having enough time left on his deal, Inter are in a tough financial spot and may need to sell to balance the books.
The report claims Inter have slapped a €50m price tag on Barella and at that price point, he will be an enticing prospect for several top clubs in Europe.
Chelsea and Manchester are reportedly interested and it is unlikely that Inter Milan will turn down a big-money bid for their key midfielder if one arrives in the summer.
Mount has a deal at Chelsea until the summer of 2024 and talks to extend that deal have stalled. The disagreement is centered around his preferred wage package with the midfielder asking for a figure in excess of £250,000 a week and Chelsea not willing to go that high.
