Liverpool go all out for World Cup star after Bellingham snub
Premier League giants Liverpool are prepared to do all they can to land Argentine World Cup star Alexis Mac Alister after failing in their attempts to lure Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham to the club.
Liverpool give up on Bellingham
Liverpool are no longer in the running for the signature of English youngster Jude Bellingham after being blown out of the water by Dortmund’s valuation of the midfielder, believed to be around £130 million minus wages and agent fees.
With Real Madrid prepared to do business with Dortmund on those terms, Liverpool have now had to look for alternatives to Bellingham, with Brighton’s Mac Allister their new prime midfield target.
Liverpool seek swift Mac Allister deal
Liverpool are hoping to avoid a similar circumstance to the Bellngham debacle by acting fast on deal for Brighton’s Argentine World Cup winner before other clubs start to cast glances his way as well.

The Red devils have been admirers of Mac Allister since he helped Argentina to a first World Cup title since 1986, starting six of the Albiceleste’s seven games in Qatar while also assisting a goal in the final against France.
They will be hoping to tie up a deal as early as May to avoid entering a bidding war, and expect to be able to do that since the player and the selling club are also angling for a summer move.
