The Nigeria international has scored 6 goals in 26 appearances for the Foxes this season and reportedly rejected a new deal on reduced wages last month.

Iheanacho to leave Leicester City this summer

According to Football Insider, Iheanacho will leave the club on a free this summer and could be subject of a transfer battle between Everton and Aston Villa.

During the Championship trophy presentation last week, the Nigeria international wore a t-shirt with the slogan: “We’ve got history. When I’m gone, you gon’ miss me.”

Wilfred Ndidi is another key Leicester player whose contract expires this summer, and there is reportedly plenty of interest in his services.

The Manchester City academy graduate has opted not to extend his stay with Fulham despite the club's numerous attempts to find an agreement.
