'Ibrahimović is my idol' - Šeško has revealed he wants to have an impact at Man United like Sweden legend
Sesko finally had an end to his long-time transfer saga, rejecting Newcastle for a move to Manchester United.
The Slovenian striker joined the Red Devils from RB Leipzig for €76.5 million, plus an additional €8.5 million in bonuses.
What Sesko said
"He's been my role model since I was a kid. I've watched every video of him I could find on YouTube because he's just incredible," the young forward said in his first interview as a Manchester United player, as reported by Sportal.
"We have different personalities, but I love watching him play, how he enjoys football. If you love football, everything works out. I think that's the most important thing.
"That's probably one of the reasons why I like him so much. It would be amazing to meet him one day. He's my idol. Of course, I try to learn from him," Šeško revealed.
He added that he also admires other former Manchester United players. "I also like Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney. Of course, I've watched their videos too.
"They were magnificent, there's a reason to admire them. I'll try my best to perform at my highest level and help the team, help the club climb as high as possible," the Slovenian added.
