Gary Neville has showered praise on Arsenal's star forward comparing him to Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez.

Gary Neville, former Manchester United captain, has drawn parallels between Arsenal's Gabriel Jesus and ex-Red Devils forwards Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez.

Neville praised Jesus as a brilliant footballer, noting that he possesses attributes reminiscent of both Rooney and Tevez.

Despite Jesus scoring three goals and providing one assist in 13 Premier League games for Arsenal this season, he continues to remain a key part of Mikel Arteta's set-up at the Emirates.

I love Jesus. I love him, honestly,” Neville said on his podcast.

“I think he is a brilliant player and I would have loved to play with him because he’s got a bit of Wayne Rooney in him, a bit of Carlos Tevez in him.”
