AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori has been linked with a possible move back to the Premier League, with a number of English clubs said to be keeping tabs on him.
The 25-year-old played in the Premier League with Chelsea before joining Milan permanently in the summer of 2021 after an initial six-month loan deal.
Tomori attracts Premier League interest
90 Min reports that Premier League bigwigs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle, and even his boyhood club Chelsea, are paying attention to his performances in Italy, with a number of scouts reportedly on the ground to watch him play in Milan's 1-1 draw against Roma.
The report also suggests that the defender of Nigerian descent would be open to a move back to the Premier League to improve his chances of reentering the dynamics of Gareth Southgate's team.
The defender was left out of the Qatar 2022 squad and has only managed three caps despite making his debut in 2019 and being part of a Scudetto-winning Milan side.
With the new manager coming in and the raft of players acquired under co-owner Todd Boehly, Loftus-Cheek will find it difficult to nail down a place.
According to 90min, Loftus-Cheek is subject to plenty of interest from Serie A, with Lazio and Napoli believed to be keen on his services.
Milan are emerging as serious contenders for the midfielder's signature and Chelsea are believed to be open to a sale.
Loftus-Cheek is believed to be open to a move away, recognizing his opportunities will be limited next summer.
