Brentford’s striker Ivan Toney is a relieved man after his eight-month FA betting ban was finally lifted this week.
Pulse Sports can report that the England international has taken to social media to react as he is now available to return to action for the Bees later today.
Toney’s gambling ban
The 27-year-old from Brentford faced severe consequences after being found in violation of FA betting guidelines.
The FA charged Toney of 262 breaches spanning from February 25, 2017, to January 23, 2023, with the Brentford star admitting to 232 infractions, with the remaining 30 charges withdrawn.
This resulted in a ban from participating in all football-related affairs until January 16 for the talented centre-forward.
Having served his suspension, Toney is now eligible to resume his career again and his available for selection for the Bees again.

Toney shines on return
Meanwhile, the striker, who is on the radar of some of the Premier League giants led by Arsenal and Chelsea, showed his remarkable scoring prowess on his first match for the Bees.
Toney featured for Brentford B in a comprehensive 5-1 win against Southampton, with the forward helping himself to a hattrick and an assist.
Toney showed that he has not lost his scoring ability in the Premier League 2 clash played behind closed doors as reported by Pulse Sports.
He could make his much-awaited return to the senior team when the Bees host Taiwo Awoniyi’s Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
