Be a good loser — Arsenal boss aims dig at Emma Hayes after beating Chelsea to Conti Cup
Arsenal coach Jonas Eidevall recently found himself entangled in a heated altercation with Chelsea's Emma Hayes following the Conti Cup final.
The showdown culminated in a controversial incident where Hayes accused Eidevall of 'male aggression,' prompting a sharp response from the Gunners' manager.
The Verbal Spat
The tense exchange between Eidevall and Hayes erupted after Arsenal's triumph over Chelsea in the Conti Cup final.
What began as a typical post-match confrontation escalated quickly as the two managers clashed, culminating in a display of physical aggression from Hayes towards Eidevall.
Eidevall's Retaliation
Following the altercation, Eidevall wasted no time in refuting Hayes' accusations of male aggression. In a clear rebuttal, he urged Hayes to reflect on her own conduct rather than casting aspersions on others.
Eidevall, according to Goal, said, "I think there is definitely a way you behave in the technical area, there is also a way you behave after the game, being a good winner, but you also need to be a good loser and be responsible in both those situations. I’m happy with the way I conduct myself and others need to look in the mirror and see if they’re happy with themselves."
