The 2006-born star stands at 1.97 metres. He is coveted for his height and his left-footedness. The interest from European clubs has steadily increased since he made his debut earlier this year, and those clubs are now stepping up their pursuit.

The Blaugrana have revamped their scouting department. Deco got promoted to sporting director last season, and the arrival of João Amaral this summer has strategically positioned Barcelona in the talent market. This was evident in their signing of Roony Bardghi from Copenhagen for the paltry sum of €2 million.

According to Diario AS, they are eyeing another talented youngster, Benedetti, for a bargain. The Blaugrana have been closely following his development and could be forced to make an early move as Arsenal are advancing on that front.

The 19-year-old is reportedly available for €10 million, and the North London giants are believed to have submitted an initial offer. Serie A champions Napoli are also in the race and are steadily keeping tabs on the defender.
